Possible Diagnosis to consider if the Calcium is high

1. Hyperparathroid hormone excess
2. Cancer
3. Sarcoidosis

If the phosphate is low or low/normal, order a parathyroid hormone blood test.
If there is weight loss and pain, evaluate for cancer.
If there is shortness of breath, evaluate for Sarcoidosis.
